Blues, Samba e Amor and Chico

a quick one before going to bed, no pun intended!

this is an idea I am developing and I thought I would put on Illustration Friday before the new week!
this is came to me while working on a cover of a song by Chico Buarque, "Samba e Amor" singing about sleepless nights, making samba and playing Love or vice and versa... we go to bed when the rest of the city goes out to work.

Back to photoshop!

This week I have been trying to put together a small sample of works for a portifolio, works I dont have because in the last few years I have chosen guitar over image...
Anyways, there is this job opportunity and even thou will be a hard one to get i thought it was a good excuse to get back on image making!
so I left music aside... but not for long because this is what came from my first ventures in the pixel world:

... essa semana estive empenhado em montar um portifolio com algumas imagens and arts, o problema e que essas imagens nao existem pois ha 4 anos eu troquei a camera pela guitarra...
Enfim, existe uma oportunidade de trabalho, ainda que pequena, para retoucher/computer com um fotografo por ai. De qualquer jeito usei o fato como uma desculpa para voltar para o plano de imagens.
entao deixei a musica de lado, mas nao por muito tempo, pois esses mini pedais ai encima foi o primeiro fruto da minha movida photoshop!! nerd!!!!

Illustration Friday: Blues!

So this is It, my first attempt to put a illustration on the web... I thought it was time and when I saw the topic of this week on the Illustration Friday I remembered of this pic here which I am quite fond of!
basically its is inspired by the time I was on the road playing guitar around the globe and feeling a bit like if Charlie Brow and Rob Flemming had blended into one:

Por que eu estou fazendo um blog?

não tenho uma resposta definitiva, talvez pra manter um contato mesmo que distante com a família.
talvez por querer espalhar um pouco da confusão dentro da minha cabeça...
talvez por um desejo quase narciso de partilhar imagens de desenho de músicas...
talvez pra passar o tempo...
talvez pra me perder...
talvez porque o psicólogo recomendou!
